He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. and Elizabeth Birdsall; his siblings, Gertrude Beebe, Joseph Birdsall, Jr., Elizabeth Pruitt and Helen Birdsall; and his grandson Hilton Anselmi, Jr..
He is survived by: his spouse Marion Adams; his children, Paula Callais (Wayne), Raymond Birdsall, Jr., Joan Birdsall, Randy Birdsall, Phyllis Chiasson (Robert) and Julie Carriere (Herbert); his siblings, Jeanne Blanchard and Walter Birdsall, Sr.; his grandfather Joshua; and also, Jacob, Jordan Callais, Ray Birdsall, Michelle Domangue, Heidi Wimberly, Lesley Green, Jessica Plummer, Mark, Andrew and Jill Carriere.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Savior Catholic School or the USS Batfish at the Muskogee War Memorial Park.
