It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Onezime Callais of Lockport, Louisiana, born in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Adams Callais; his parents, Roselus P. "Lulu" and Priscilla Guidry Callais; his grandparents, Theogene, Mathilde Hebert Guidry, Paul and Irma Guidry Callais; his stepmothers, Rose Cassanova and Viola Rodriguez Orgeron; his brother Dudley R. Callais, Sr.; and his sons-in-law, Aron Langston and Kirk D. St. Pierre.
He is survived by: his children, Lela C. Langston and Wade A. Callais; his stepsiblings, Kirby Orgeron (Elaine) and Judy Cheramie (Daniel); his granddaughters, Angela Loupe (Tad), Sarah Gisclair (RJ), Rebecca St and Pierre-Adams; and his great grandchildren, Carly Loupe, Drake, Madison Gisclair and Amarie Adams.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Onezime "Joe" Callais to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children.
