It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Saia of Lockport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo Salvatore Saia; her parents, Joseph Adams and Leona Savin Adams; her daughter Lisa Saia; her grandson Destin Michael Saia; her sisters, Josephine Adams, Beulah Cheramie and Rita Boudreaux; her half-sisters, Eula Triche, Jane Russo, Jean T. Arceneaux, Beulah T. Savage, Sally Triche, Eula T. Collins and Evelyn T. Serigny; her brothers, Elson Adams and Lee Adams; her half-brothers, John Triche Jr., Charles Triche, Wilson "Buck" Triche and William Triche; and her son-in-law Gary Robichaux.
She is survived by: her close friend Randy Hence; her children, Darlene Robichaux, Dean Saia, Angela Saia Rock (Keith), Tony Saia (Gayle), Chad Saia (Jodie) and Troy Saia (Courtney); her grandchildren, Carmen Robichaux Ishaq (Sharief), Heather Bychurch (Robert), Paige Saia, Amber Rock, Dustin Saia (Lexes), Kadie Saia, Isaiah Saia, Christian Saia, Destiny Saia, Dylan Saia and Carleigh Saia; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Xander, Jaycee, Ryder, Kacen, Zeppelin Saia, Kaitlyn, Makayla and Blake Bychurch; and her sister Stella Adams.
