He was predeceased by: his daughter Janell; his parents, Murphy Sr. Parfait and Mary Parfait; and his siblings, Ronald Sr., Donald, Floyd Parfait and Deloris P Geauthreaux.

He is survived by: his close friend Lynn; his children, Leslie 'Tom Lodrigue, Thomas, Lesleyann, Bret, Alexa and Anna Parfait; his stepchildren, Gail, Angelina, Adam Jr. and Eric; his siblings, Murphy Jr. "Curly", Roland Sr., Carl Sr., Robert, Kelly, Debbie Parfait, Peggy Bell, Jody Duplantis, Sharon Luke, Lisa Richard and Patty Lutz; and his former wife Rebecca Phillips Parfait. He is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren.
