It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome J. Shields of Lockport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Patrick Shields, Sr.; and his siblings, Michael Shields, Sr. and Susan S. Graves. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Gisclair Shields; his children, Jeremy Shields and Alison Hadaway (Adam); his grandchildren, Molly and Kaylin Hadaway; his mother Genevieve Willis Shields; and his siblings, Patrick Shields, Jr. (Linda) and Sharon S. Hartley (Tommy).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his name to Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Larose.
