She was predeceased by: her significant other Alfred "Freddie" Delaune; her parents, Pierre Pitre and Leonor Lathrop Pitre; her brothers, Robert Pitre of Pierre Pitre and Linwood Pitre; and her great grandchild Avia Guidry.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Adams (Mary), Patrick Adams (Carolyn) and Mona Guidry (Alan); her sisters, Audrey P. Guidry and Juanita P. Remont; and her child Cajun French. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
