With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude D. Parr of Lockport, Louisiana, born in Gheens, Louisiana, who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry J. Parr, Sr.; her sons, Henry Parr, Jr. and John E. Parr; her parents, Ellis Dupuy and Lucille Toups Dupuy; and her brothers, Norman, Roy, Lawrence and Harold Dupuy.
She is survived by: her son Jules Parr; her daughter-in-law Charlotte Parr; her grandchildren, Jarred (Paula), Darren (Kimberly) and Dusty (Darcee); and her great grandchildren, Harley, Shelby, Johnathan, Karaline, John-Luke and Samuel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Falgout Funeral Home (600 Church St, Lockport, LA 70374). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
