He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Punch Pierce; his children, Frederick Pierce Jr., Michael Pierce and Susan P. Robichaux; his grandson Michael Pierce; his parents, Franklin B. Pierce, Sr. and Juliette Richard Pierce; and his sons-in-law, Danny Robichaux and Ernest "Poncho" Eschette.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paulette Pertuit, Mary Gaudet, Linda Eschette, Jenny Melancon (Melvin), Mitzi Cranshaw (Charles) and Michelle Folse; and his siblings, Daniel Pierce, Herbert Pierce and Elsie Trant. He is also survived by 74 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
