She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Walter J. and Mary Jayne "Velma" Williams Gray; her husband Louis P. Gouaux, Sr.; her son Peter James Gouaux; her daughter-in-law Pixie Gouaux; and her siblings, Dorothy Gray Robichaux and Walter Gray Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hagman (David), L. Phillip Gouaux, Jr. (Becky) and Jayne Bordelon (Lee); and her granddaughters, Dionne O (Brien), Andrea Gouaux, Jeanne Gouaux, Louise Gouaux, Aimee O'Gwynn (Michael), Mattie Gouaux (Kim) and Ashleigh Bordelon. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
