He was predeceased by: his wife Anna May Chiasson Gautreaux; his parents, Alec Gautreaux and Aline Dufrene Gautreaux; and his son-in-law Terrel Eschette Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Daniel "Buddy" Gautreaux (Sue) and Barbara Eschette (Frank Dufrene); his grandchildren, Tina, Gina, Terrel Jr. and Dwon; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Devin, Beau, Candice and Brandon; his great great grandchild Jep; and his siblings, Hubert Gautreaux, Richard Gauthreaux (Lois), Robert Gautreaux (Carol) and Marie Eschette.
