With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elvire B. Billiot of Lockport, Louisiana, born in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Magnelta Billiot, Sr.; her children, Steve Billiot, Melvin Billiot, Sr. (Julie), Frances B. Loupe and Lisa B. Detillier; her sons-in-law, Edmond Griffin, Sr., Patrick Boudreaux and Johnny Detillier, Jr.; her parents, Augustin Billiot and Almire Billiot; and her sister Viola Naquin.
She is survived by: her children, Thelma B. Griffin, Joyce B. Crosby (Larry), Russell Billiot Velma B. (Lynette), Boudreaux, Magnelta and Irvin Billiot (Jessica D.); and her son-in-law Leonard Loupe. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
