With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Colby of Lockport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest M. Colby; her parents, Lee Ledet and Mabel LeBlanc Ledet; her grandmother Marie LeBlanc; her brother Eddie Ledet; and her brothers-in-law, Chester Vedros and Mike Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Clay Colby (Robye) and Kim Thomas; her grandson Christopher "Chris" Bosby (Quineisha); her great grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Carter and Catalina; her siblings, Dudley Ledet (Pearl), Mary Lee Vedros and Sandra Stevens; and her sister-in-law Dolores Ledet. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
