He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Griffin Theriot; his parents, Abel Theriot Sr. and Nellie Orgeron Theriot; his great grandchild Angelene Almaraz; his siblings, Mabel Rivet, Linda Theriot, Lee J. Theriot Sr., Eugene Theriot Sr. and Adam Theriot Sr.; and his sons-in-law, Toby Terrebonne, Audie Price Sr. and Abel.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Theriot Sr. (Sally), Wanda Theriot, Aline Terrebonne, Rebecca Robbins (Tony), Darlene Matherne (Kevin) and Sheila Juarez (Efrain); and his siblings, Nellie Mae St. Pierre, Rose Theriot, Claudia Schouest, Beverly Chauvin, Raleigh Theriot Sr., Robert Theriot Sr. and Rogers Theriot. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
