He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Bond and Al Bond; his significant other Jim Lewis; his sisters, Sheryl, Elizabeth Fontenot and Kassandra Gomez; and his niece Leslie Jordan.

He is survived by: his nephew Michael Garidel (Skye); his nieces, Danielle Saari and Erin Touchstone; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael Garidel Jr., Malakai Garidel, Beckham Kleinpeter, Kingston Price, Charles Leonard, Zoey Garidel and Eliza Leonard.
