She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Wascom; her parents, Harvey Kent and Mamie Kimble Kent; and her siblings, Julia Hayes and Burlin "Buck" Kent.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Watts of Ponchatoula and Margie Lee (Bo) of Walker; and her grandchildren, Angie Calloway (Joey), Christopher Porrello, Allison Bernard (Ryan) and Callie Hoyt (Brandon). She is also survived by six great grandchildren and many friends.
