He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jean Pilgrim and Charles Cleborn Tidwell; and his siblings, Donna Tidwell Manalli and Roger "Cooney" Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Vanda Rogers Tidwell; his children, Bradley Ficklin (Annie) and Jena Jones (Chase); his aunt Bernice Cade; and his grandchildren, Isabella Collins, Eli Ficklin, Kevyn Ficklin, Hadley Jones and Berkley Jones.
