He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Ragan Wilson; his grandson Saylor Wilson; and his siblings, Marion Wilson, Maurice Wilson of James Wilson, J. D, Tommy Wilson and Nancy Ritchie.

He is survived by: his children, Wayne Wilson (Dana) of Junction City, Todd Wilson (Allison) of Lillie, Tonya Scott (Clifton) of West Monroe and Tara Wilson-Haddox of Choudrant; his grandchildren, Derrick Wilson (Jill), Jared Wilson, Brittany Payne, Dustin Marrow (Lauren), Anna Marie Wilson, Chance Batten (Savannah), Braydon Wilson, Memorie Hall and Elijah Haddox; and his siblings, Bobbie Ann Orr, Dorothy Spooner, Judy Carter, Julia Meadors (Freddie), William Wilson (JoAnn), Woody Wilson (Helen) and Richard Wilson (Beth). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
