He is survived by: his mother-in-law Lillie Mae Yelling of Washington; his wife Lillie Mae of Washington; his children, Michael Smith (Lisa) of Patterson La, Israel Jr. of Abbeville La, Kenneth (Sheryl) of Franklin, Darrell (Evelyn) of Berwick La, Andrew of Jeanerette La, Ronald (Jennifer) of Sorrell La, Lamonte of Franklin, Doratio of New Iberia, Ellenor of Franklin, Veronica Smith of Patterson and Paula Smith of Patterson; his siblings, Ronnie Louis of Baldwin, Irvin Louis (Deonna) of Centerville and Joyce Louis of Franklin; his grandchildren, D'ionsei of Washington, Quandrick Burrell and Shakala of Washington; his close friends, Keith Colar and Robert Brower; and his godchildren, Rosetta Guilbeau, Keith Warner, Dwayne Freeman and Felicia Peters. He is also survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
