He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Kramel Prestridge of Libuse; his children, Raymond Ira Prestridge, Jr. (JoAnn) of Libuse and Holly Elaine Prestridge of Libuse; and his sister Inez Brown of Deville.

Memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Louisiana Humane Society or a charity of choice.
