She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Lanehart; her son Frank Polk, Jr.; her parents, Clarence Townsend and Olivia Johnson Townsend; and her siblings, Lurline T. Platt, Eva Mae Malone and J. B. Johnson.
She is survived by: her nephew Gregory Parker; and her sister-in-law Irma Johnson (Patrick Johnson). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
