She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph D. Mallet; her parents, Dudley Joseph Meche and Hilda Landry; and her brother Malcolm Meche. She is survived by: her children, Scott Mallet (Shelia) of Opelousas and Monique Mallet D'Avy (Mark) of Leonville; her grandchildren, Christopher Mallet (Brandy), Coby Mallet, Victoria Mallet Gremillion (Will), Nicholas D'Avy (Laci Daigle) and Amber D'Avy; her great grandchildren, Jacob Mallet, Alex Mallet, Nova Gremillion, Liam Kidder, Demi Kidder, Vincent D'Avy and Emme Gremillion; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Meche of Port Barre and Charlene Mallet of Leonville. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
