He is survived by: his wife Julia Gordon Lemelle; his children, Lanford Lemelle, Sr., Lawrence L. Lemelle, Jr. and LaShonda L. Flugence; and his siblings, Ricky I. Lemelle and Melissa Lemelle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
