Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church of Leonville, LA for Joseph Thomas, 25, who entered eternal life on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Domingue, SVD will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Justin leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Jaxstin Jeliel Thomas; his mother, Geraldine C. Thomas of Leonville, LA; two brothers, Henry Gerard Thomas (Nicole) of Breaux Bridge, LA and Jeremy O'neil Thomas (Felicia) of Leonville, LA; a sister, Rachel Paulette Thomas (Mark) of Opelousas, LA; his girlfriend, Hanna Leger of Carencro, LA; five uncles, Joseph J. Thomas, Joseph Leland Thomas both of Leonville, LA, Carlton Thomas, Sr. of Opelousas, LA, Roland Joseph of Arnaudville, LA and David Eugene Clues of Grandwood, LA; nine aunts, Philoman Mayon, Rose Mary Richard both of Leonville, LA, Felozia Reed, Elizabeth Green, Priscilla Clues all of Houston, TX, Verlia Lewis and Janella Beverly both of Opelousas, LA, Gwendolyn Harris and Linda Joseph both of Arnaudville, LA; nephews: Javon, Tyrus, Isaius, Devin Gerard Thomas; nieces: Bailey Brown, Bria Thomas, Zaniyah Charles; great-nieces: Cassidy Savoy, Peighton Brown, Au'Bryn Brown; godparents Linda C. Justin was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Henry Thomas; grandparents, Carlton Thomas, Sr. and Lucille Alsandor Thomas, Wilfred Clues, Sr. and Julia S. Clues; uncles, Wilfred Clues, Jr., Rodney Clues, Ronald Clues and aunts, Dorothy C. Abbs, Louanna Williams and Verna Johnson.
