It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Floyd Arceneaux of Leonville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son James Michael Arceneaux; his parents, Jacques Arceneaux and Avia Auzenne Arceneaux; his siblings, Sylvia Arceneaux Lemelle and Anthony Martin Arceneaux; and his sister-in-law Ida Guillory Arceneaux.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Collins Arceneaux of Leonville, LA; his son Joseph Patrick Arceneaux (Calla) of Scott, LA; his siblings, Jack Huey Arceneaux of Opelousas, LA, Felix Jude Arceneaux (Louise) of Parks, LA, Celeste Arceneaux Lemelle (Morris) of Baytown, TX and Alice Arceneaux Rogers (Charles) of Friendswood, TX; and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Lucia and Joli Arceneaux. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home. A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Katherine Catholic Church.
