He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Carriere; his children, Chad Everett Smith (Karen), Shannon Knowles and Brandi Smith Mallet (Chris); his grandchildren, Sydney Piekos, Dakotah Piekos, Jacob Mallet, Alex Mallet, Danielle Spears and Nicholas "Cole" Spears; his siblings, Harold Smith (Dianne), Charles Edward Smith and Henrietta LaGrange (Ronald); and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Mayer Smith and Elizabeth Mayer Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
