He is survived by: his daughter Katelyn Theresa Porter (Paul Dural); his grandchildren, Lillian Grace Porter of Breaux Bridge and Levi Drake Dural of Breaux Bridge; and his siblings, Terry Porter (Susan), Scott Porter (Cindy), Jeff Porter (Ilida), Steven Porter (Lisa), Mark Porter (Linda), Michael Porter (Terri), Nancy Brown, Brenda Martindale (Ron) and Jo Anne Roy (Jeffrey).
