It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Charles (Leonville, Louisiana), who passed away on February 15, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Charles and Irene Charles; his grandparents, Telefonse Cretien and Mable Charles; his siblings, Alfred Charles, Joseph Charles and Helen Charles; his aunts and uncles, Octave Cretien, Joe Cretien, McClendon Cretien, Carlton Cretien, Anthon Cretien, Marshall Cretien, Virgie Charles, Julia Cretien, Audrey Cretien, Agnes Cretien, Gladys Cretien, Laura May Cretien and Lucille Cretien; and his nephew Jamie Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Charles of Port Barre, LA; his children, Jessie Andrus (Amanda) of Opelousas, LA, Randy Andrus of Port Barre, LA, John Pickney (Melissa) of Mamou, LA, Shawn Charles of Port Barre, LA, Elizabeth Comeaux of Opelousas, LA, Victoria Gallow (Lawrence) of Port Barre, LA, Casey Pickney of Texas, Miranda Charles (David) of Port Barre, LA and Keroshia Charles (Savon) of Opelousas, LA; and his siblings, John Charles (Marie) of Leonville, LA, Jesse Charles (Latral) of Leonville, LA and Leona Nero (James) of Leonville, LA. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
