It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Brister (Lena, Louisiana), who passed away on December 25, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Patricia Vince; his parents, Walter Brister and Katie Brister; and his siblings, Garson Brister of Joe, George Brister, Morris Brister, Levada "Chick" Wilson, Bertha "Bertie" Mannino, Katherine Overstreet, Jane Brummitt and Ruthie Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Brister; his daughter Lisa McCoy (Kevin); his grandchildren, Tommy (Chantelle), Patrick Vince, Kellie Guy (Jason) and Paul McCoy, Jr. (Kareena); his great grandchildren, Sierra Vince, Montana Vince and Nicholas McCoy; and his siblings, Edrina Mulford, Geneva Holly, Maxie Brister and Ann Wallace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
