He is survived by: his wife Lena Margaret Lange Carter; his children, Misti Lynn Carter Lee (Robert "Bobby" Edward) and Donald Ray "Bo" Carter, Jr. (Irene Lorraine Carter); his grandchildren, Matthew Kirk Carter (Kacy Rochelle Carter) and Skylar Blaine Castille (Yuki Sakamoto Castille); and his great grandchildren, Lane Tate Carter, Kylee Rochelle Carter and Rylee Denise Carter.
