She was predeceased by: her husband William H. "Junior" Dowden; her mother Irene Smith Willis; and her siblings, Daniel Paul Willis, Bruce Leslie Willis, Thomas Eugene Willis and Alberta Ann Brister.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Brinkley (Don) and Kenneth Willis; her children, Barbara Scott (Kenny), Mary Ann Dowden, William Alvin Dowden (Linda) and Leslie Gene Dowden (DeAnna); her grandchildren, Gene Paul Dowden, Mary Louise Moore, Alisa Denise Vielman, Bucky Alvin Dowden, Leslie Gene Dowden Jr., Tiffany Ensley and DeAnna Hill; and her niece Ouida Wallace. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
