She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Holmes and Gladys Gay Holmes. She is survived by: her husband Clayton Sherin; her children, Willie Sherin, Janice Parker, Alfredia Devita, Sherman Sherin and Thalia Sherin; and her siblings, Dorothy Evans, Herbert Holmes, Rosetta Webster, Kenneth Ray Holmes, Lynette Davis, Denitha Holmes and Joyce Holmes. She is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosehaven Funeral Home (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Rosehaven Chapel (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134).
