He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Scutt of New York and Mary Ellen Hanner Scutt of New York. He is survived by: his daughter Holly Hyatt (Ryan) of Anacoco, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Beckham, Brooks, Briggs and Indie.
His love for road construction is evident through his many contributions to building bridges and roads throughout Louisiana.
