He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafayette Miller Sr. and Lula Mae Fuller; and his siblings, Harold Miller, Jamie Miller, Edward Cooper, Virginia Cooper and Wilma Jean Fuller Monfort.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Miller; his children, Jeanise Miller Bolling (Larry) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Al Steven Lane of Marshallville, Ronald Miller (Annik) of Forest, Kevin Miller of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Jeffrey Miller Sr. (Christina) of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his siblings, Alfred Fuller of Marshallville, Richard Fuller of Marshallville, Robert Fuller of Marshallville, Milton Fuller of Marshallville, Alphonzo Perez Miller (Ruthie) of Detroit, Michigan, Shirley Kendrick of Perry Georgia, Betty Cooper of Marshallville, Fannie Mae Jones (Rumph) of Marshallville and Sandra Miller Johnson of Endwell; and his brother-in-law Sherman Lubin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church (300 N Blake St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (3348 University Pkwy, Leesville, LA 71446).
