She was predeceased by: her parents, Griffith Massie and Goldie Massie; her husbands, James Carpenter and Jery Morehart; and her daughter Diana Morehart.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas BoBo Jr. (Rosie), Karen Williams (Randy), James Carpenter (Kathy), Griff Carpenter (Sandy) and Chris Carpenter (Suzanne). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
