She was predeceased by: her mother Kay Marie Cooper Riggleman; and her grandson Jaxon Reeves. She is survived by: her husband Russell Herring of Leesville; her children, Gary Young of Crowley, LA, Dustin Herring of Leesville, Amiee Peavy (Bubba) of Sugartown, LA, Allison McFarland of Dry Creek, LA, Amanda Wilder (George) of Anacoco, LA, Jessica Herring of Leesville and Violet Johnson of Chicago, IL; and her grandchildren, Thomas Young, Emily Young, Trevor Reeves, Arelee Peavy, Eli Peavy, Lydia Pace, Cari Martin, Derrick Godwin, David Godwin, Paisley Mayo, Austin Mayo and Finnigan Herring.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church (3255 Belview Rd, Leesville, LA 71446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
