He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Elwood and Johnnie Marie Prather Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Roxann Purkey Harvey (Landscaping) of Purkey's Nursery; his sons, William Britt Harvey (Laura Harvey) and Bradd David Harvey (Rachal Carter); his siblings, James Thomas Harvey (Rhonda Harvey), Alice Gail Alphin, Avis Marie Grant (Steve Grant) and Betty Sue Evans (Mike Evans); his grandchildren, Anna-Grace Elizabeth Harvey, Ashton Taylor Harvey, Asherr Lane Harvey, Jacob Daniel Harvey, Charlie Bakies, Aurailia Carter and Draycon Carter; and his close friend Rhonda Verzwyvelt. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has designated St. Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org for memorial contributions.
