He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Steadman and Elizabeth Steadman; his son Timothy H. Steadman; his stepson Daniel Whittington; and his siblings, Warren Steadman, Bud Steadman, Betty Lohman, Jean Brockway and Hazel Nix.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Steadman of Lecompte; his children, Wayne H. Steadman, Jr. of Florida, Warren P. Steadman of Georgia, Thomas E. Steadman of Idaho, James M. Steadman of Georgia and Janice Hallman of Georgia; and his stepsons, David Whittington of Bayou Chicot and Jimmie Whittington of Lecompte. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
