She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Jasper Thigpen; and her parents, Littleton Smith and Jenny Smith. She is survived by: her children, Mark Thigpen of El Dorado, Charles David Thigpen of Atlanta, Georgia and Anice Thigpen of Eugene, Oregon. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lecompte (2002 Water St, Lecompte, LA 71346).
