We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 61, Leroy Willis Jr. of Lecompte, Louisiana, born in Franklin, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Willis, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Willis; his aunt Thelma Abraham; his siblings, Foster Willis, David Willis, Patricia Willis and Alzina Willis; and his nephew Loveless Willis.
He is survived by: his wife Diane B. Willis; his daughters, Debbie Fisher of Lecompte, LA and Rhonda Langford (Diningo) of Lecompte, LA; his brother Alfred Kinchen of Franklin, LA; his stepbrother Allen Willis of Omaha, NE; and his sisters, Mary Lee Willis of Fort Worth, TX, Eve Kinchen of Lecompte, LA, Sandy Willis of Franklin, LA, Lorraine Willis of Omaha, NE and Lois Smith of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Greater St. Stephen Baptist Church, 305 6th Street Franklin, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Deondre' Johnson, Sr., officiating. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).
