He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fred and Vertha Chop (Causey); and his brother-in-law Charles Harold Youngblood. He is survived by: his wife Betty Guillot Chop; his daughters, Renee Chop Vanlangendonck (Richard) of Lecompte and Karen Chop Fisher (Sammy) of Deville; his sisters, Nell Rose Chop Albert (Lendal) of Lecompte, Betty Sue Chop Burns (John) of Lecompte and Joann Chop Valerian (Larry) of Katy, TX.; his grandchildren, Madeline, Mallory Beauregard, Katie and Richard Travis Vanlangendonck; and also, Les, Marissa, Adriana Wesson, Rusty and Blue Heeler.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
