With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendel J. Olivier of Lawtell, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 63. Though Wendel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wendel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (3915 LA-35, Opelousas, LA 70570). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Bridget Cemetery (3915 LA-35, Opelousas, LA 70570).
