He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Sr. Ziegler and Marie Rob Ziegler; his brother Rudolph "Rudy" Ziegler Jr.; and his son Robert "Bobby" A. Ziegler Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Wyble Ziegler; his children, David R. Ziegler (Shelli) of Opelousas, Jacklin Ziegler Stelly (Alan) of Broussard and Judith Ziegler Credeur (Mike) of Lawtell; his daughter-in-law Linda W Ziegler of Ville Platte; his sister Rosemary Ziegler Ingram of Detroit; his grandchildren, Seth Robert Fontenot (Sarah Marks), Candace Ziegler Johnson (Ray), Joshua Michael Breaux, Jessica Breaux Brinkhaus (Brandon), Cody Joseph Fontenot, Morgan Ziegler Stelly (Kyle), Derrick Ziegler, Hillary Brooke Ziegler, Victoria Alexis Ziegler and Hunter Credeur (Tanner Jefferys); and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Haley, Liam, Marceline, Erin, Kasen, Annalise, Zane, Collin, Alice and Levi.
