She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Pop, Julia Nichols Crooks and Robert Lee Crooks; her mother Joyce Crooks James; and her brother Charles James II (Charlie).
She is survived by: her sisters, Janice James of Monroe, Louisiana and Terri James Hayward; her brother-in-law Dr. Michael Hayward of Monroe; and her nieces and nephews, Dr. Christiana Hayward Jameson, Annelies Hayward Smithey, Thurner and Thomas Hayward.
Any memorials in her honor may be made to the charity of your choice or the Dwight D. Edwards Scholarship at Grant Preservation Board of Louisiana, 136 Red Oak Lane, Dry Prong, LA 71423 of which Linda was a significant contributor.
