He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edwards, Sr. and Yvonne White Edwards; his grandsons, Lee Edwards and Derek Edwards; and his siblings, Dwight Edwards, Jeanette Edwards Sanders and Patricia Edwards LaPrairie.
He is survived by: his wife Touzette LaRavia-Edwards; his children, Chris Edwards, Chet Edwards (Lisa), Cherisse Edwards Book (Kenney), Lee LaRavia and Lauren LaRavia; his brothers, Lawrence Edwards, Jr. (Jo) and Mickey Edwards (Robin); his grandchildren, Sarah LaRavia Strong (Bryan), Ben LaRavia, Caleb Tucker, Eli Tucker, Naomi Tucker and Noah Navarro; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Edwards and Nelson LaPrairie. He is also survived by three great-grandsons, one great grand-daughter; one bonus great-grandson with a bonus great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Jonesville. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
