He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Cheramie and Leonise Cheramie; his sister Dorothy "Sue" Auseve; and his great grandchild Camryn Folse. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia L. Cheramie; his sons, Tommy P. "Pookie" Cheramie, Jr. (Marlo) and Ramey Davis Cheramie (Holly); his grandchildren, Aaron Cheramie (Lauren) and Gabrielle Cheramie (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Aubree, Colton Cheramie, Holden and Cooper Folse; and his brother Larry Cheramie (Liz).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373). A Mass was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Holy Rosary Cemetery (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373).
