She was predeceased by: her husband Horace "Pete" Matherne, Sr.; her parents, Tony Matherne and Flossie Matherne; and her siblings, Nelson, Wilson, Mack Matherne and Earline Estay.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Toups, Patricia Loupe (P. J.), Donald Matherne (Florence), Loria Folse (Jacob) and Horace Matherne, Jr.; and her siblings, Wesley Matherne, Anthony Matherne and Madeline Ockman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
