He was predeceased by: his parent Juliette Boudreaux Lagarde; and his brother Roland Lagarde. He is survived by: his wife Joyce D. Lagarde; his children, Ralph P. Lagarde Jr (Cammy), Suzette Bilyeu (Jimmie) and Cynthia Compeaux; and his siblings, Lionel Lagarde, Helen Hendrix, Marion Claudel, June Herman, Nora Orgeron and Dora Topham. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
