It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie P. Verdin of Larose, Louisiana, born in Dulac, Louisiana, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Freddie "Captain Fred" Verdin; her parents, Abraham, Sr. Parfait and Marie Violet Foret Parfait; her son-in-law Gary G. LeBlanc; her siblings, Abraham Parfait, Jr., Josephine Naccio, Florence Soudelier, Marguiete Cupp and Rita Mae Plaisance; and her goddaughter Barbara Naccio.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Frederick Verdin (Sharan K.), Eddie E. Verdin, Ezelle Leblanc (Varon) and Earin Verdin; her brothers, Michael, Peter, Anthony and Easton Parfait; her grandsons, Grady LeBlanc (Crystal), Alan Verdin (Anna) and Craig James Verdin; her great grandchild Gabriel Rubinstein; and her goddaughter Melissa Usey.
