He was predeceased by: his father Roy Melancon; his grandparents, Sydney, Judith Melancon, Johnny and Marie Louise Griffin; and his in-laws, Harris and Margaret Dufrene.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Dufrene Melancon; his children, Mason Melancon (Hanna), Chaz Melancon (Macie), Kaden Melancon and Colt Melancon; his grandchildren, Easton, Stevie, Adelyn, Stetson and Brenna; his mother Rainell Griffin Melancon; his siblings, Lonnie Melancon (LeAnne) and Dawn Melancon; and his godchildren, Camryn Gisclair, Taylor Melancon Camardelle and Lanie Griffin Victory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
