She was predeceased by: her former husband Tilman Matherne; her husband Theodore Thibodeaux; her son-in-law Henry Rink; her parents, Louis Cheramie Sr. and Verdie Brunet Cheramie; her siblings, Herbert Cheramie, Louis Cheramie, Jr., Tilman Cheramie and Gladys Guidry; and her stepchildren, Clarence Thibodeaux and Carolyn Dilworth.
She is survived by: her siblings, Herman Cheramie, Della Mae Danos, Della Pitre, Dolores Champagne and Dorothy LeJeune; her stepsons, Rudy Thibodeaux and Reed Thibodeaux; and also, Audrey Rink, Arthur Matherne (Gail), Gilbert Matherne (Michelle), Danny Matherne (Ann), Linda Chiasson (Philip) and Perry Matherne (Neina). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren.
